A 35-year-old man was killed and another man was seriously injured in a violent incident that took place tonight (Saturday) in the industrial area of ​​Rishon Lezion. The two involved in the incident, asylum seekers from Eritrea, were rushed to Assaf Harofeh Hospital in critical condition, where they were pronounced dead. According to police spokesmen, a search is underway for the suspect in the murder. According to information in the possession of the police, in the early hours of the morning apparently on the way out of a club in the industrial area of ​​Rishon Lezion, and a suspicion that those involved were under the influence of alcohol was also investigated.

MDA paramedic Michelle Rashkovski said: “We arrived at the old industrial area and saw two foreign nationals from Eritrea lying with penetrating injuries, one was unconscious without breathing and without a pulse and the other was in a vague state of consciousness. We gave them life-saving medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital while one was in critical condition. CPR and emergency operations determined his death, and the other is in serious condition.”

Hours later, in a violent fight that took place in the center of Tel Aviv, where two young men were seriously and moderately injured. The MDA team gave them initial medical treatment at the scene, and transferred them to the Ichilov Hospital for further medical treatment. The police began investigating both incidents.

The police spokeswoman said: “The Israel Police received a report of a fight on Ahad Ha’am Street in Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv police officers arrived at the scene immediately and began an investigation and search for suspects. A 25-year-old man in serious condition, a 24-year-old man in moderate condition (according to medical officials) were evacuated from the scene to Ichilov Hospital. According to the suspicion, the background is criminal. The police located and arrested a suspect A resident of Yarakh will be questioned at Tel Aviv’s Lev station on suspicion of involvement in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.”

The David Philo National Police Center’s police station is conducting a situation assessment at the scene, together with the district command and the Shafla region, during which they reviewed the findings of the investigation so far.
